Criteria

The SQI District Softball Association (DA) of the Year Award may be awarded to any DA that has attained a level of excellence through the adoption of progressive programs, initiatives and strategies to grow and improve Softball within their area and whose performance in this way has been so exceptional that their achievements have identified them as being clearly outstanding from their peers. Factors to consider in completing and assessing nominations include:

• the types of programs, initiatives and strategies that have been adopted;
• the achievements and outcomes that have resulted from the programs, initiatives and strategies; and
• the significance of any achievements, with a particular focus on growth, participation and new products, including facility development, funding approvals, governance.
