Please complete this form if you are a senior athlete (years 12/13) and would like to be considered for entry for Berkshire into the English Schools Track and Field Championships 2021. Due to the continued impact of the Covid pandemic we are not able to run our championships in the same way so senior athletes will not be competing in the usual way at the Berkshire Competition. We ask that senior athletes compete at club competitions over the next few weeks and ideally at the SEAA U20 champs 12th/13th June to try and get at least the entry standard to qualify for ESAA.

Entries can be made via your school teacher/coach/parent or you yourself.

You must make sure that you keep Friday 9th July free if you are successful as this is when Senior athletes will compete at the ESAA championships.

Seniors should submit their best performances from the season so far for consideration for selection for Berkshire for the ESAA National finals. Your performances should have been achieved in a club competition and must be evidenced on power of 10. This is is the only way in which ESAA will be selecting athletes for the championships.

You may put forward information for 2 events (put your preferred event first). Entries will be limited in each event at nationals to a maximum of 16 athletes to ensure the competition can be completed within the afternoon session. Athletes will be able to compete in one event only, as usual, although Counties can enter them into two events and indicate a preference in case they are not ranked in the best sixteen entries in their first choice event but are inside the top sixteen in their second if, for example, a number of people enter the same events and are selected in their first choice event. This is an entry system just for this year to try to ensure as many athletes have the chance to compete at the championships under these difficult conditions.

Please only submit this form once. The deadline is SUNDAY 13th JUNE at midnight. Entries will not be accepted after this time. Please note that completion of this form does not automatically get you into the Berkshire team. Berkshire still will select the top athletes over all age groups to our maximum allowed number as per our usual selection policy.

The process is:
- Get at least entry standard in a club event that is shown on powerof10
- complete this google form by midnight Sunday 13th June
- Berkshire will look at all entries (seniors from here as well as junior and inter results from the Berks champs) and pick a team to submit to ESAA by June 22nd
- ESAA will select the top 16 in each event and notify Berkshire hopefully by 24th June
- Berkshire will then notify all successful athletes
- ESAA championships 9th-11th July (seniors on 9th)

We are only asking for the data and information that we need to organise and run the BSAA Track and Field Championships. All information submitted will only be used by the volunteers appointed by the BSAA in order to run this competition. As soon as it has been checked and verified and results have been produced personal information will be destroyed. Whilst it is being reviewed all data will be kept secure and under password protection and only shared with relevant BSAA personnel.
