2021 Grand Rapids Zine Fest Wait List
This is the wait list for the GRZF at Fountain Street Church on August 7th, 2021 from 1pm to 6pm. This year is going to be quite different due to COVID19, so please read this application carefully.

**All of this information is subject to change. We have your safety in mind, and we will adjust the fest as needed depending on the current state of the pandemic.

Our maximum capacity is approximately 54 half tables. However, due to COVID, we will likely be lowering that capacity to allow for more room between tables.

If we have to postpone the fest, all accepted tablers will automatically have a spot for the new date. Of course, if you cannot attend the new date, you are not obligated to table.

Those selected to table will be sent all payment information, and your spot at the fest is secured once you have paid.

However, with the present state of the pandemic, we want to discourage unnecessary travel. While all zinesters from out of state are welcome, we ask you to strongly consider if it's safe for you to travel. While we'd love to see you, safety is the most important.

Information submitted will be used for social media promotion and program information if you are selected, so please double check your information! (If you want to opt out of social media posts, let us know.)

We have an FAQ Page with more details about the space and the fest itself. If you have additional questions or need to modify your submitted application please email us at grzinefest@gmail.com or message us on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.

Thank you!

However you'd like to be referred to. A nickname or pen name is totally fine.
Pronouns *
Where are you from? *
Are you willing to follow all COVID safety measures at the venue? *
As the fest gets closer, we will be working with Fountain Street Church to decide what safety measures are needed. This may include social distancing, one-way traffic for attendees, masks that cover your nose and mouth, hand sanitization, etc. Certain safety measures, like wearing a mask, may not be optional.
Do you have any COVID-related concerns you want to share?
We understand that even as vaccinations roll out, it's still nerve-wracking to attend an event. (We are happy to share that both organizers are vaccinated!) If you have any thoughts or ideas you want to share with us, we'd love to hear it.
Table Size *
*Important: Full size tables are only available to zine distros. Meaning, you collect/publish zines from multiple authors and distribute them. Applicants who apply for a full table who are clearly an individual zinester will not be accepted. This year, due to COVID,  only 1 person is allowed per half table. Distros may have 2. (If you require someone to come with you for accessibility reasons, that's totally ok! Just let us know.)
Zine information *
Please tell us about your work! This blurb will be included on our online exhibitor list and will also be used for social media posts. If it helps, you can think of this as an "About Me" or an artist statement. (Mature content is fine, but we ask that you include content warnings since this is an all-ages event.)
Name, brand, and/or zine title for program *
For our social media posts and program, please let us know how you'd like to be listed.
Links to social media/website
Feel free to share links to your work. These links will be included in our online exhibitor list and social media posts.

Seating arrangements
If there is another zinester who has applied that you'd like to sit by, please let us know. We'll take your request into consideration when making the seating chart. However, due to COVID, tables will likely be farther apart.
Permissions
Please let us know if you do NOT consent to having your photo taken and/or GRZF sharing your tabler info on our social media.  (Please note that this is a public event, so attendees may be taking photos.)
Will at least 2/3rds of your table be zines? *
We are one of the only reoccurring zine events in Michigan! Help us keep the focus on zines.
I have read and understood the implications of the GRZF Safer Space policy. *
Additional information
Are there any accessibility needs we can help with? Want to tell us about more about yourself or your zines? This is the place for anything else you think we should know!
