CSO consultation on Population and Development: Ensuring Rights and Choices
Civil society organizations, academia and the private sector are invited to participate in the CSO consultation
Limited travel funding will be available for participants selected to attend the Consultation through this process
Before submitting a nomination or application, please confirm that the candidate:
is a representative of a civil society organisation, academic institution, and officially authorised to participate on its behalf.
has demonstrated expertise and experience related to the issues under discussion during the consultation.
is working and representing CSO from the UNECE region, a priority will be given to WB, EE and CA countries, as well as working with or representing disadvantaged groups of societies.
has demonstrated the ability to engage constructively with a variety of stakeholders.
is not funded by any other sources – e.g., government, IO.
is available to be in Geneva for the CSO Consultation on Wednesday, 18 October, for the UNECE Regional Conference on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 October and for related travel, if necessary
assumes the responsibility to obtain a visa ( visa cost will be covered by the organisers in case the participant attendance is supported by organisers)
