Parents and Students,
Girls in grades 7th-12th are able to participate on our flag team. This team will meet once a week to go over their routine and then perform at some of the half-times for the basketball games. Performances will start in January. Girls who want to play basketball and/or archery can also be on the team, we will just coordinate what games they perform at.
Practices will be on Wednesdays after school from 3:15-4:30 at Mill Street
Wed Nov 15th---Open Gym come and try the flags and batons, get a feel for what it would be like and then decide if you want to join the team or not. No commitment to attend this day, just come and have fun.
Regular practices will start on Wednesday 11/29 and continue thru Wednesday February 11th.
Thurs January 11th will be the first performance.
Flags and Batons will be provided, no experience is needed.
The school will be purchasing uniforms for the team this year, therefore there will be a cost to join the team to help cover some expenses for the uniforms. Cost will be $25 per student. Please send in a check to the school for this, write "FLAG" in the memo.
