Mead School District For/Against Voter Info Pamphlet Committee Application for Feb. 13, 2024 Special Election

The Mead School District Board of Directors is seeking applications from citizens interested in being appointed to a committee to write the for/against statements for the Spokane County Local Voters’ Pamphlet related to renewal of the Educational Programs & Operations Levy, to be considered in the February 13, 2024 election. Those interested can apply by filling out the form below by end of the business day on Friday, Oct 27, 2023.

For and Against Voter Info Pamphlet Committees, by law, will be made up of 1-3 members, by appointment from the Board of Directors. The Board will take action on the appointments at its November 13, 2023, regular board meeting. Statements are due to the Spokane County Elections Dept. by 1:00 PM on December 22, 2023.

Mead School District Qualifications listed below mirror the Spokane County Auditor’s Office printed qualifications.

  • Must be a registered voter in the district proposing the measure.
  • Have an email address and the demonstrated ability to communicate rapidly by email.

  • Shall agree to work collaboratively with co-committee members.
