Indicate the approximate number of students you advise directly or case manage each year. *

How do you support your students through the college process in your role as a college access professional? ( check all that apply)

Assist with high school course selection

Run a pre-college summer program which include college tours

Provide SAT and ACT prep program or additional Saturday or evening program

Work directly with Admissions reps to coordinate presentations for students and parents

Provide College essay support (helping students choose topics, edit essays)

Serve as the "Advisor" for your students on Common and Coalition Applications.

Assist students with FAFSA, and State Aid applications

Assist student with scholarship searches outside of what your organization may provide

PCACAC provides regional conferences and quarterly workshops for College Admissions Professions that are open to all (i.e. school counselors, independent college counselors, admissions counselors and CBO's) The objective of this SIG is to address the needs of college professionals who are NOT public or private school counselors or college admission counselors. What do you believe are your unique needs in your role as a college access professional working in a nonprofit or community based organization?
