Honors Course Application

The Helen P. Denit Honors Program wishes to expand its course offerings by adding purely honors courses. In contrast to enhanced courses, which are available to honors and non-honors students, honors courses will only be available to students enrolled in the Helen P. Denit Honors Program. These courses should have wide appeal to students across the university. A strong preference will be given to face-to-face seminar-style courses with experiential learning components. Ideally, the course will be interdisciplinary (intentional integration of knowledge from different disciplines) or multidisciplinary (collaborative teaching of one content area from more than one lens) in nature. Opportunity to cross-list the course across HEGIS codes is a plus.
