"Do I Look Like A Gamer?" 2023 Campaign
There continues to be challenges around a lack of diversity and inclusion in video games which is affecting people in the industry today, and young people looking to get in but don't see a place for themselves due to a lack of representation.

Last year, we launched a new campaign to promote the diversity that does exist as a way to let young people from underrepresented groups know that there is a place for them in the video games industry and culture. We want them to be exposed to the diversity of roles they can get into, where they can help shape the next decade of the industry.

The success of the campaign have led us to make it a permanent fixture, year on year, as we work with the video games industry to create and maintain lasting change.

This year's initiative will start with the photo campaign in which we'll be selecting 40 players and makers to showcase the campaign message: “Do I Look Like A Gamer?”

We’re looking for people of different backgrounds (gender, ethnicity, role in gaming), and asking people to bring the controller from their favourite console or handheld to be part of each shot.

We’re sending this to you because we want you to be involved. This means spending 30 minutes to join us on one of our photoshoot days.

We're now in a new decade in gaming and we want your help to make a long-lasting impact so the young people with aspirations of getting into the industry in 2029 are much better represented than they are today.

Please take a moment to fill in this form and we will follow up with more details about the campaign, plus specific shoot dates.

THANK YOU!
