✨ 2023 committee positions include: ✨
President: The President is responsible for calling and chairing the meetings for the Society and the committee. The President will oversee all the committee members and set Society events. (The President must be a current student at the University.)
Vice President: The Vice President will help fulfil the responsibilities of the President when the President is unable to do so. (The Vice President must be a current student or staff member of the University.)
Secretary: The Secretary shall be responsible for minuting all meetings of the Society and maintaining the membership list (the name and student number (where applicable), & email address)
Treasurer: The Treasurer is responsible for maintaining the Society’s financial accounts. (The Treasurer must be a current student at the University.)
Marketing Lead (1 Position Available): The Marketing Lead will is responsible for all of the societies communications. Will regularly meet with and provide direction to the Marketing and Graphics officers to ensure all society posts and communications are completed. Will regularly meet with the President to develop Marketing plan.
Merchandise Lead (1 Position Available): The Merchandise Lead will be responsible for the design and ordering of all Merchandise for the club. Will regularly meet with and provide direction to the
Merchandise Officer to develop and maintain the Society Merchandise offerings. Will regularly meet with the President to develop Merchandise plan.
Events Lead (2 Positions Available):
The Events Lead will be responsible for the planning and implementation of all events run by the club during the year. Each Events Lead will work directly with 2 Events Officers (forming 2 teams of 3), providing directions to the Events Officers to ensure the smooth running of all events. Will regularly meet with the President to provide updates on events planning.
Communications Officer (4 Positions available): The Communications Officer will be responsible for the implementation of the Marketing plan developed by the Marketing Lead. Will meet regularly with the Marketing lead and create posts for the society.
Graphics Officer (2 Positions available): The Graphics Officers will be responsible for developing all graphics to be used in Society Social Media, Advertising and at Events. Will meet regularly with the Marketing Lead to plan all graphics.
Events Officer (4 Positions available): Will work with the Events Leads to implement all aspects of the Event plans developed by the Events Leads. Eg. Ordering food, booking rooms etc.
Merchandise Officer (1 Positions available): Will work with the Merchandise Lead to plan and order all merchandise for the coming year.
Sponsorship Officer (2 Positions Available): Will be responsible for the communication between the society and current sponsors. Will also be responsible for contacting other companies to gain additional sponsors. Will meet regularly with President and Vice-President to ensure sponsors stay happy.
General Committee (5 Positions available): Will help with the set-up and pack-down at events, and may choose a focus area to help out with (ie. Events, Merch, Graphics, Communications, Sponsorship)
