Welcome to the First-year Research Immersion Program!
We are so happy that you are interested in the program! But, we know that deciding on which school you will attend is a daunting process with many factors to consider.
To help you get a feel for Binghamton, and for the FRI Program, we offer individual student laboratory visits for you to come to campus and visit the labs of
FRI streams you are interested in, getting the valuable opportunity to speak to current and former FRI students as well as our stream Research Educators one on one to see if FRI is the right fit for you!
Please complete the form in its entirety and an FRI Ambassador will reach out to you to complete the tour scheduling process.
Please note that if you wish to visit labs while they are active
or wish to meet with FRI Faculty, your visit must be scheduled within business hours while classes are in session. Please consult the
BU Academic Calendar to ensure classes are in session on the date of your visit.
To ensure adequate time for us to plan your perfect visit, complete this at least one week prior to your visit. If your visit is in less than a week, and you wish to schedule an individual tour please complete this form and reach out to us immediately after. We will do our best to schedule a visit within the week.
