Birdville United Band Boosters is 100% staffed by parent volunteers.
The band directors and our students depend on BUBB to help make the Mighty Hawk Band program a
success
.
It’s our goal for every family to volunteer for at least 2 hours/school year
. There are a wide variety of opportunities to suit your interests. You will have a front row seat
to the action, be an active participant in shaping the program, and be guaranteed a really fun time.
All volunteers are required to complete the BISD volunteer background check. The application opens July 1st.

General Volunteer
Fundraising - mulch, USA flag program, Community Sponsorships, etc
Chaperone - games or events
Logistics - help with props, assist in moving props & equipment at games & competitions
Band Member Events - Band Banquet, Senior Night, and other student-led activities
Bird Feeders - serve meals and snacks for away games and competitions
Special Events - Jazz Dinner and Auction
Event Hospitality - assist with and support special events as needed, i.e. solo contests
Uniforms - fittings, ironing, and alterations (as needed)
Photographer - photograph as many event as possible
Videographer - capture marching show and concerts for directors and archives
Middle School Representative - communicate with middle school band directors and BUBB
Percussion Representative - communicate with percussion director and BUBB
Color guard Representative - communicate with colorguard dircecctor and BUBB
