The application deadline is June 1st, 2024. The deadline is intentionally set far in advance to provide ample time to bridge any practice gaps and ensure a smooth transition into the program. See teacher training website for more info.
REVIEW PROCESS
Once we receive your application, we will promptly review it within one week. This means you won't have to wait long to hear back from us, and you can start planning for your future.
REMEDIAL TRAINING IF NEEDED
Early application is key for those that may not meet 100% of the pre-reqs. If we identify areas that need improvement in your application, we will provide you with a conditional acceptance letter and a detailed training program to follow. The sooner you apply, the higher your chances to improve enough to qualify for our teacher training program.

IMAGES AND VIDEOS
You will have to send links to your statement of interest, pictures and videos. We suggest you start gathering those, add them to a google folder and then start filling out your application.

ABOUT THE STATEMENT OF INTEREST
In 500 words or less, please tell us why you want to be a YogaSlackers Teacher, and what you would like to do after the training in terms of teaching, practice, creating community, etc. Also include what you hope to gain from the training, other than the “blessing” to teach using the YogaSlackers name.
TRAINING LOGISTICS
Location: Kaomai Lanna Resort, Chiang Mai, Thailand
Dates: Dec 1 - 18, 2024
Arrive on Dec 1st between 2 and 5 pm
Depart on Dec 18 at 1 pm
No late arrivals or early departures
Cost: The cost for the training is $3,500 per person or
$3000 for those participating with their training partner
$500 discount to certified teachers (over 100 hrs teacher certification in any movement art)
If you are accepted, you will be required to send a $500 deposit immediately to secure your spot.
50% of your balance will be due on Aug 1st
Final payment will be due Oct 1st
SOME OF THE BENEFITS OF BECOMING A YOGASLACKERS TEACHER
Teachers who pass our course will receive the YogaSlackers blessing to teach as "'your name' of the YogaSlackers". New teachers will be encouraged to begin sharing their work (and adding to it) through workshops, classes, events, performances, tours, and intensives - all backed by the YogaSlackers name and our growing support system.
Graduated teachers will be listed on the YogaSlackers official website. You will be able to create a profile, bio, list of classes you're teaching, locations of those classes, and links to your external websites. Teachers can request access as administrators of their regional YogaSlackers Facebook Pages. Teachers are allowed to purchase (at a special 'teachers only' rate) additional eLines, clothing, jewelry, and whatever else we come up with for retail sales. You will also benefit from discounts from friends on the industry (i.e. Hala Gear SUP, ToeSox, Ibex, Rad Rollers, Xero Shoe, and many more.)
