Junior Main Street Ambassador
Requirements
  1. For Newkirk youth residents, grade 9th and 10th/ age 14-16
  2. Pay $10 dues

Expectations
  • JMS Ambassador will be selected from the applicants to assist with JMS meetings or the NMS director
  • Meetings are every Tuesday that Newkirk Public Schools are in session, starting August 22
  • Meetings are held at the Newkirk Main Street office, 116 N. Main Street, Newkirk, 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm
  • We encourage 25 community services hours per grade year.   These hours will be applied to the 100 hours required to meet the standards for honorary Jed's Cords for seniors graduating
  • Main Street Director will contact Ambassadors for additional volunteer hours.

Opportunities for volunteer hours/We need Ambassador help these dates-
  • Tuesday leading up to Charlie Adams Day
  • day of Charlie Adams
  • Tuesday before Children's Christmas Shop
  • day of Children's Christmas Shop
  • Tuesday prior to Newkirk Main Street Banquet
