AceraEI Registration for:                                      Spring 2020 & Summer 2020 Life Sciences Change Agent Teacher (LSCAT) PD Workshops: Gene Editing, Microbiome Genomics, and Feeding a Growing Population: Botany + Agriculture
Please join the next cohorts of this professional development series that will cover hands-on labs you can do with your students on gene editing, the microbiome, and botany + agriculture. All content meets NGSS and/or physiology standards. Each session is 2 full days at the Acera School (Winchester, MA). Participants are expected to attend both sessions and also implement the labs (including pre/post student assessments) at their schools the following academic year. Participants will have the opportunity to join ongoing research projects and attend future professional development sessions. Please note: the gene-editing unit uses the Odin's DIY Gene Editing Kit materials, with a comprehensive curriculum guide developed at Acera.
