Global Citizenship Workshop: Joanna Williams
On Monday, April 3, 2023 from 6:00-8:00pm, the Global Citizenships Project will host Joanna Williams, advocate for the rights and dignity of migrants, and Executive Director of the Kino Border Initiative, for an extended conversation about the work she does at KBI, the values that sustain her, and career pathways for students who want to work with and for migrants. Share your own experiences and questions about migration and US immigration policy and the implications for global citizenship; and receive practical advice about careers in related sectors. (Part 1 will be a conversation between Ms. Williams and Prof. Erik Owens; Part 2 will be small group conversations; Part 3 will be student questions for Ms. Williams about your own career paths.)

This program is primarily for undergraduates, but graduate students can inquire and join as well. If you're interested in participating, please fill out the form below!
