Staples Mill SMS Ministry Internship Application
Summer 2024

The SMRBC Student Ministry Internship will exist primarily to support the Associate Pastor for Students in many aspects of Student Ministry at SMRBC. Also, the internship may involve supporting activities in other ministry areas such as Children's Ministry, Discipleship, Music, etc. The primary purpose of the SMRBC internship will be to develop pastors and ministry leaders for a future of gospel-centered service in a local church. The student ministry internship is also open to those seeking a vocation outside of the local church, but the primary purpose is to equip future leaders in ministry.  

The internship will be filled by 1 candidate who has applied for this role, participated in a personal interview, and been approved by the SMRBC Pastoral Staff. The candidate will be at least 1-year removed from high school graduation and senses a call from God to vocational ministry.

Internship details:
The internship will begin in late May or early June based on the availability of the intern.

Ministry hours @ SMRBC will be approximately 30 hours per week: Monday - Thursday 9am-3pm (1 hour off for lunch) and Sunday 9am -1pm
Focus will be on participating, planning, and preparation with all aspects of the Student Ministry as well as supporting other areas of ministry at SMRBC as needed.
