Fair Trade LA is run by a dedicated group of volunteers. We are looking to involve passionate volunteers to help us accomplish FTLA’s annual goals of community education through events, social media, and engagement with our local political leaders. By volunteering, you'll work directly with our Board Members and Executive Director to move forward the mission of FTLA. We hope you'll join us!

We need people who care about promoting Fair Trade to join us in the following areas (any age or profession is welcome) :

 - Community Engagement & Programming: This committee is responsible for developing yearly programming with community building events that educates and benefits all members, including our business members.

 - Marketing & Communications: This committee is the online creative arm of Fair Trade LA. We get to dream up, and create vision for how we can best display our mission for a better world . If you are one that loves all things social media, graphic design, copywriting, or even researching , this is the committee for you!

 - LA City Relations: This committee is focused on outreach efforts to LA City Council and large citywide projects to adopt Fair Trade practices. (In 2020, they led the effort in passing the Fair Trade Resolution to make LA the largest Fair Trade City in North America!)

- Finance Sustainability and Growth: This committee helps FTLA leadership think creatively about annual fundraising initiatives and long-term sustainability. Engage as a volunteer with the planning and executing of fundraising programs, donor stewardship, and growing recurring support for FTLA.
