The Healthy Human Culture framework gives insights into the organising forces of human systems so we can be informed, effective, and responsive to whatever life brings and create societies where all can thrive. It was developed by Sophy Banks and continues to evolve through her work and insight and a community of practice.

This workshop combines experiential and embodied inquiries, core teachings and is inviting the group's wisdom to explore this profound and vital topic.

It is an introduction into a journey that may transform all aspects of your life, personal, professional and as a part of the living Earth.

Theresa Fend and Dita Vizoso have been part of a growing community around Healthy Human Culture since its start in Spring 2021. We have both incorporated HHC in our life and work, and want to share our experiences and invite you to find your own.

What draws you to these sessions?  Are there any particular areas of interest that brought you here?
We want to design your session in a way that is as inclusive as we can, and take into consideration our differences in access and ease with technology.  We acknowldege that for many people accessing Zoom is already impossible or a challenge.

Recording
We would like to record the general parts of the sessions to use as resources for outreach. We will not record breakout rooms or private sharings.

There will be group discussions where we all can contribute our thoughts, and we will not share them without your explicit agreement.

Are you happy to be recorded?

Agreements
At the beginning of the session, we will make group agreements about care and respect for self, others and the group journey.  Before that, we want to make sure that you are attending in a way that is most beneficial for you and the group.

We will look at individual and collective trauma as something which underpins how inner and outer worlds are organised. This may stir strong feelings for individuals, or between members of the group.
Also, we will offer embodied exercises — inviting movement and/or sensing your body — and visualisations. They are optional, but we feel they are important for our session. We ask all participants and facilitators to sign up to the agreements below as part of attending to the group intention and wellbeing.

Acknowledging that we will be touching deep places, we ask you to agree:

1. That you take responsibility for looking after yourself on this journey, and for having enough support to work with what comes up for you. This might mean putting in place additional support if you find you are feeling activated in ways that need more attention than can be provided in the session. It includes being willing to talk with facilitators if they ask for a conversation.

2. That you take responsibility for what you do
and say in the group, and are open to receiving reflections or challenges, and to stay in processes of exploring live dynamics as much as possible. The facilitators also consent to this agreement, and welcome reflections and challenges which support the group exploration of healthy culture.

Please click to say you have understood and sign up to this agreement.
