The School of Music Montreal (SoMM) offers free musical education to children in Montreal’s underprivileged communities. Our core program includes group lessons, private lessons and music workshops.

HIRING:
~ Teachers:
Our music teachers are passionate, dedicated educators who want to help us foster a safe and nurturing environment for our students while promoting social sustainability. Bilingualism is not necessary as we have English or French speaking students.

~ Logistics Teams
Our logistics team members are diligent volunteers who work in different teams to help the program run smoothly throughout the year. They can including, marketing, operations, events, fundraising and more. No music experience necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:
~Minimum weekly commitment of 1-2 hours volunteering time
~Enthusiasm to work together on teams for Logistics Members
~Music Teachers would need musical experience
~Be older than 16 years of age to volunteer with us
