Dear Performers,
BottledSnail Productions presents lunchtime concerts of classical music performed by members of Melbourne’s legal profession at the Law Library iof Victoria (Supreme Court). There are 4 concerts planned for 2024.
Expressions of interest are welcome from experienced solo performers or ensembles, but we are also interested in hearing from people who have returned to performing after a long break or are at the start of their musical careers. We would also love to hear from pianists who are able to accompany other instrumentalists or vocalists.
Depending on the number of performers, we will advise on the length of time available which can range from 5 minutes to 12 minutes. Generally, three to four soloists/ensembles perform at each concert.
Tentative dates for 2024 are:
1) 28 March - EOI closes 28 February
2) 23 May - EOI closes 23 April
3) 22 August - EOI closes 22 July
4) 24 October - EOI closes 24 September
These concerts will start at 1pm.
Please indicate when you would like to perform or be involved in some way, including assisting as a piano accompanist for vocalists and instrumentalists. We also welcome any assistance back stage. We will contact you with further information after receiving your EOI.
