Project Coach Youth Coach Application Fall 2019: Tryouts are 9.5 & 9.6
Project Coach is not a job. Project Coach is a team. A team of Springfield high school and college students, Smith College community members, Springfield Public Schools educators, and Baystate Health professionals. A team that believes youth have the power to create powerful change in children, their communities, and themselves. A team that works together to mentor, tutor and coach elementary school children and serve our community. Project Coach meets four days a week (plus occasional weekends for training). Coaches receive a $100 weekly stipend for full participation. If you can commit to a 4-day afterschool program, are a positive role model, and want to coach for change, please apply. Though Project is not a job, coach-interns may receive a $100 stipend for their participation in Project Coach after completing basic training and passing a practical and written exam.
