ABOUT THE EVENT
You are warmly invited to participate in TimeBank Hurunui's inaugural REPURPOSE & REPAIR EXPO. This will be an educational and networking event featuring displays, demonstrations, and mini workshops that showcase innovative ways to give fresh life to objects and materials that would otherwise end up in the waste stream.

Categories include (but are not limited to), textiles/clothing, tools and machinery, furniture, toys, appliances, garden/outdoor, items, farm implements, artwork, and miscellaneous. There’ll be a 'REPAIR HUB', for people to bring items to be fixed or mended, and a 'CAFE CORNER' for people to relax over a cuppa and snack. The Expo will go from 12.30 to around 4.30pm.

This will low-entry* cost event, by the community, for the community. The long-term vision behind this project is to establish a Repurposing/Upcycling workshop in Amberley, alongside a Recycle Shop. (*$5 per adult, children free).
