Filling out this application means that you wish to apply to be staff at the Warm Embrace! Feel free to submit this application at any time, even when we aren't actively pursuing new staff members. We will try to get back to you promptly with an answer, though we may also ask if we can keep you in mind for future positions if we don't have any available at the time.
These are the only rules when applying:
- Be 18 or older, both IC and OOC.
- Please have a Discord and join our Discord server. (

- You do not have to be on Mateus or in our FC to be hired.
- Don't have conflicting obligations with other FFXIV Roleplay Venues on Wednesdays. It's fine if you might be an hour late or if it's a once in awhile thing, but we need you available somewhat reliably to consider hiring you.
- We DO NOT offer ERP services with our Dancers or Hosts. They are solely for entertainment and for roleplaying with patrons. Dancers are also expected to help patrons feel more comfortable and have entertainment to watch. Hosts are expected to make conversation and help patrons feel at home. Nothing more.
Here is what is expected of each job:
Host:
The ability to make conversation with patrons to make them feel welcome, especially if they've arrived alone. Not to pressure them into tipping you or reserving time with you. To be able to communicate with other staff if a patron is making you uncomfortable or if you'd like to decline a reservation without making a scene of it with the patron. Being able to walk around and help take orders if the bar is overwhelmed if you aren't busy.
Bartender:
The ability to memorize or consult the menu to quickly make transactions. To roleplay with the customer to what you deem is an acceptable degree and make them feel as if they're interacting at a bar instead of just paying gil for an item. To juggle multiple orders at once, but ideally we won't let you get swamped. To be willing to learn the Primal Focus game with the possibility of running it (optional).
Dancer:
The ability to make conversation with patrons to make them feel welcome, especially if they've arrived alone and seated themselves in your area. Not to pressure them into roleplaying or tipping you, even if they're in your area. To communicate with bartenders or hosts if they might be better suited for a patron's needs (one on one conversation or drinks/food). To be able to communicate with other staff if a patron is making you uncomfortable without making a scene of it with the patron. Having more than just Harvest, Step, and Ballad dances.
Staff will be paid 50,000 gil a night of work, and are allowed to keep any and all tips they make.
We are currently not hiring for game dealers (jackpot, cards, slots) and floor staff (greeters, front desk).
