For the first time this year, we're organizing a special lunch at POPL solely for LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer and related identities) attendees, to provide a safe space for us to chat, network and share solidarity. The lunch is open to students, post-docs, faculty, and other members of the POPL community; we hope it helps to establish new connections among queer researchers in PL, and to foster an atmosphere within the PL community that welcomes, supports, and values researchers of all identities.

The lunch will be held in a private room within the hotel (details to come) on Wednesday, January 22, from 12:30pm-2pm.

We're collecting RSVPs to get a headcount, but please feel free not to share your name; it's always a good idea to avoid entrusting potentially vulnerable computer systems with information that could endanger you.
