IWHS Volunteer Training
Thank you so much for taking an interest and volunteering your time with Interfaith-Works Homeless Services. Please fill out this form and you will be invited to our next available training session. Volunteer training happens on the second Saturday of every month at the IWHS admin office, located at 110 11th ave. SE in nthe basement of The United Churches of Olympia. Once you have completed this form you will receive an invite via email to attend our 3 hour training.
Please note: we run background checks for all prospective volunteers to ensure the safety of our most vulnerable neighbors who are accessing our services. Criminal backgrounds do not automatically preclude any community members from donating their time and presence and determinations are made on a case by case basis. Your answers will be kept 100% confidential; your privacy is important to us and we will never share or sell your information with other agencies, companies or individuals.
If you have questions or need clarification on anything, please reach out the Brock.Schafer@iwshelter.org
