UU Wellspring’s unique combination of spiritual practices, spiritual companionship, readings, and heart-opening sessions can sustain you in your faith. Often a sustaining joy emerges in this era of trauma, while deepening commitment to transforming ourselves and our world.
These UU Wellspring cohorts will begin in the Summer (Sacred Earth and Young Adult) and Fall (Sources, Deep Questions, Sacred Arts) of 2022.
BIPOC Religious Professionals Group: Sources--new start in January 2023
All clergy, seminarians, interns, and all other UU religious professionals are invited to participate in this group. Clergy recieve 38 UUMA Learning Credits and other religious professionals can use it for credentialing or certification portfolios. Meet twice a month with colleagues for a 10-month kick start to your own spiritual deepening while connecting deeply with other BIPOC religious professionals. Small groups of 10-12 will gather with your facilitator, Sahar Muhsin Laufman as you connect deeply with your faith. Sliding Scale with several partial or full scholarships from a UU Funding Grant.
Clergy Cohort: Sources Still time to sign up!
Earn 38 UUMA learning credits while participating in a transformational clergy-only UU Wellspring group focused on your spiritual deepening. Meet twice a month with colleagues for a 10-month kick start to your own spiritual deepening and connections. Small groups of 10-12 will gather with a trained clergy facilitator as you connect deeply with your faith. Open to UU clergy. $400-600 sliding scale.
Everyone Cohort: Sources or the advanced Sacred Arts Closed
Whether you are a friend or lay member of a congregation, a religious professional, or a UU without a congregation, you are welcome in this group! Meet twice a month with UUs from all over for a 10-month kick start to your own spiritual deepening and connections. Small groups of 10-12 will gather with a trained facilitator as you connect deeply with your faith. $400-600 sliding scale.
Everyone Cohort: UU Wellspring Reads: Sacred Earth (Fall ) Closed
This new 6-Session program provides a deep dive into our sacred relationship with nature. Based on Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer and The Sustainable Soul by Rebecca James Hecking. Ritual and spiritual practice are included. Spiritual Direction is not required. $120.

This 8-session program provides Sources and Spiritual Practice for 18-30 year old emerging adults. This age group is also encouraged to consider the 10 month Sources program. Funded by YAYA office of the UUA. $0-$100.
Check the calendars to make sure you are available for all or or most of the sessions. Since they are online, you can Zoom in from almost anywhere!

Note: Several books and a spiritual director are part of the 10 month programs. Some of the books are available in libraries and all are available from online booksellers, such as InSpirit, the UUA Bookstore. Only the first book needs to be accessed before the Sources retreat (Everyday Spiritual Practices edited by Scott Alexander) and you can gather the rest as they are needed.
