I'm still thinking through pricing. What do you think a fair price might be for a 12-month read along, much like the one I'm doing for My Ántonia, with a weekly essay, discussion questions, and supplemental resources?
Your answer
When I taught a seminar course on Cather, the capstone experience was a trip to the Cather Archive in Lincoln and to Red Cloud, Cather's hometown. Red Cloud boasts the largest living memorial -- the most restored historical sites -- for any American author. The tours of sites like the Pavelka farm, which we'll see in the final chapters of th enovel, are truly remarkable, particularly for readers with a deep familiarity with Cather's work.
If you joined the course, might you be interested in participating in a 2-3 day trip to Lincoln and Red Cloud, or just to Red Cloud? Travel, lodging, and other costs would be in addition to registration for the read along.

Do you have any other questions, concerns, or suggestions for me as I consider whether or not to launch an annual Cather read along?
