This is the sign up form for the
Mini-Workshop on Applied Rationality. The participant cap is 20 and we have passed 15 signups now. The following questions are intended as an approximation of buy-in for the intended experience as well as to figure out who might benefit most from the experience.
If you are selected for the workshop, you will receive an email to that effect. If you don't receive an email, then you didn't get in.
Selection will be transparent:
- People who answer all items show serious engagement with the process and thus will be prioritized.
- People who are more sure they can make it will rank higher than those that don't.
- People who have ever organized a rationality event will be guaranteed access (provided there are not more than 20 of those).
- People who have recently and/or frequently attended rationality events will be prioritized.
If there are still tie-breakers left then the last motivational write in question will be weighed. People who are otherwise active in the community (e.g., by writing/commenting on LW/ACX) will be prioritized.
There will be no way to contest these decisions, cause we are just doing this for fun and I hope our vibe and way of organizing just feels ok and fair as those things go. Hi <3
