Murphy Christmas Parade: December 3 2022
  • We are excited to celebrate another Murphy Christmas Parade with you in on Saturday, December 3, 2022. The theme of this year's parade is "Candy Christmas".
  • The Murphy Christmas Parade will begin at 6pm from the Valley Village Shopping Center to the L&N Depot.  All parade participants will be staged behind Valley Village Shopping Center starting at 4:00pm through 5:45pm. Please approach the shopping center via Black and Gold Drive by driving into the Murphy High School campus and continuing past Murphy Middle School to the side entrance of Valley Village Shopping Center.
  • Please note that those individuals who are walking in the parade will have the opportunity to join the parade at Murphy Elementary School.
  • There is no charge to register, however we require pre-registration if you want to partciipate.  This allows us to plan for the number of entries. All drivers of vehicles must be 18 and have a valid driver license.
  • All floats (not trucks or other vehicles) will be eligible for prizes.
  • This will be a night parade so go "big" with lights and glow sticks. If you are walking, riding, or floating we want you to be LIT-UP! Battery pack lights, glow bracelets, and all kinds of fun safe lights are allowed.  No open flames please.
  • Horse-riders must be prepared to keep animal waste off of the roadway.
  • Please bring lots of candy and plan on going "heavy" in the Downtown area where the majority of parade-watchers will be.
