Salisbury Public Safety Summer Academy July 15th - 18th 2024 
We are thrilled to announce that Salisbury Parks and Rec will host its inaugural Public Safety Summer Academy for High School Students in the summer of 2024! The academy is a collaboration between Salisbury Fire, Salisbury Police, Salisbury Beach Lifeguards, and Cataldo EMS, it will provide attendees with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the first-responder professions.
  • Due to limited space, the first preference for attendees will be given to Salisbury residents. However, we highly encourage all students in the Triton District to submit their applications. This is a TWO step process. If an applicant is accepted, he/she  will be provided a link for registration. 
  • Please tell us WHY you would like to be part of the academy. 
  • The Youth Academy is free of charge and a T-shirt  will be provided. Students will be required to bring their own lunch, snacks, and beverages Monday through Wednesday, Lunch will be provided on Thursday.  
  • Important dates:
               April 1st: Applications open
               May 1st: Applications close
               June 1st: Last day for accepted applicants to commit to Academy & register
