If you're here for the playlist consideration, please note that this is not a submission of one song. You're submitting yourself as an artist. Once you submit your info, you do not need to submit again (unless you need to update your info) for further playlist adds. I'll consider all your music on an ongoing basis once you're in my system.
If you're here for gigs, please understand there are limited spots for shows in this city in general and I'm no exception to that, but people who have submitted this form are the first to be considered for any gigs AML has to offer.
The Playlists:
"Local Artist Top 100 Austin" is a playlist in order of popularity on streaming platforms. It is basically a Billboard Hot 100 with only local Austin music. There is no limit to how many songs you can have make this chart but it only contains songs from the most recent 12 months. Rankings and new additions are curated daily.
"Local Artist New Music Austin" is a playlist in order of most recent releases. If you are local to Austin or the surrounding area, your latest release will be added to the playlist as long as it is recent enough to make the top 100. If you have a new release in the future, you can expect it to be added near the top or at the top if no one else releases music that day. Songs are added daily. The only exception is multi track releases. If you release more than one track in the same day, only the most popular track will be included. This is to avoid big chunks of one artist dominating the playlist.
