Who we are:
Composure is a health tech company developing digital therapeutics to help people find calm and regain focus through interactive music and sound. We are currently gathering information to learn from the PTSD & trauma community in the New York and New Jersey area about managing stress and other mental health issues.

Why we are conducting this research:
The National Center for PTSD reports that roughly 8% of the US population will experience PTSD at some point in their lives. About 8 million American adults have PTSD during a given year. Between 11-20% of all military veterans and first responders are diagnosed with PTSD. The affects and symptoms negatively impact people's lives; poor job and school performance, dwindling social lives, lost ability to focus and feel present, depression, anxiety, etc.

Composure is conducting this non-clinical research to better identify how we can serve the needs of the PTSD & trauma community through our unique approach to digital therapeutics. In general terms, we seek to understand the experiences of those living with PTSD & other trauma-related mental health issues - before diagnoses and during treatment.
How we are conducting this research:
Step 1: Complete the online form below

Step 2: Based on the information you provide, we will contact each person to schedule a 20 minute in-person or video chat interview (aka "the non-clinical research"). We will be scheduling interviews during normal business hours (Mon-Fri between 9am-6pm). However, we will make every attempt to work with each person's availability should there be a need to conduct interviews outside of this schedule.

Step 3: As our "thank you", those that complete our interview process will be automatically entered to win 1 of 10 $25 Amazon Gift Card we have available for this study.
Regarding privacy:
All information gathered during our research process is strictly confidential and will be used only for Composure's own internal research and development purposes. We will never share or sell your data with any third party, nor use any specific, individualized information (i.e. names, contact info, direct quotations, etc.) for any marketing purposes without your direct consent.
