CLASS OFFICER APPLICATION 2023
Please read all of the following information and complete all parts of the application process.  Applicants need a 2.5 GPA. Any student with an incomplete application will not be considered as a candidate. Applications must be turned in by Friday May 27th at 3:45pm. No applications will be considered after that time. Every position will be voted upon by the class of 2023.

Class President
Class President Responsibilities include: The President is a presiding officer and should set an example for the class regarding courtesy, fairness, and the application of rules and must maintain a position of impartiality. The President of the Senior Class is responsible for making agendas, organizing events, and delegating responsibilities. The President should be extremely organized, keeping a calendar/planner of the entire year with all materials. It must be remembered that the main function of the President is to run the meeting efficiently and fairly, using the organization's parliamentary authority. The President should encourage and compliment other members of the council, setting a good example in and outside of meetings; the President is expected to be a good role model and act like a leader in and out of school. While demonstrating all character pillars, the President should abide by all rules enumerated in the Student Handbook, work closely with all executive officers, maintain healthy relations within the student body and  administration, good grades, and a positive reputation amongst faculty and staff.
Vice President
The Vice President must be familiar with the responsibilities of the President and should be ready to assume the responsibilities of the President when needed. The VP should work closely with the President and school administration, provide new ideas for advertising and fundraising, maintain healthy relations within the student body, abide by all rules in the Student Handbook, and should set a good example in and out of school.
Secretary
The secretary should maintain accurate records (minutes) of meetings, keep committee reports on file, and sits close to the President during meetings to assist and take notes. The secretary must be able to explain the pending issues when called upon and process general correspondence—including the agenda for meetings (printing) and sending out notices of meetings. The Secretary should have the rules, a list of committees and their members, a record of membership, and an agenda available at each meeting.
Chaplain
The chaplain should exude good spiritual morality. They will  attend and participate in the organization of senior events and activities.
Social Manager
The Social Media Manager shall maintain a record of class activities and events and report imperative information to the class. Social media manager will provide the yearbook with images and information of class events. They will also create flyers and materials to be distributed to the class, school and community. The social media manager will run the class communication outlets and other social media platforms.
