Minimum Students per Class: 6;   Elite Leadership Institute reserve the rights to cancel a class if there are not enough students. If that is the case, we will issue a full refund.

DEBATE CAMP
We will offer Congressional Debate Workshop for JH students and Public Forum Debate Workshop for Elementary students.

Congressional Debate Camp
The Congressional Debate Workshop offers students a comprehensive program that will inspire critical thinking, expand awareness, and foster skills in research, argumentation, and speaking. Our program provides a balance of content and skill lectures to ensure students are well rounded in their abilities.
Additionally, students will get continuous guided practice and opportunities to hone their newfound skills.

Public Forum Debate Camp
The camp prepares students for Public Forum debate competitions.  It will cover contents such as:
what is debate and basic terminology; Why Logic is important; Topic/Resolution Analysis; How to write Contentions
How to Research; How to cite and cut Evidence; What is a Block; Format of an actual debate;  How to conduct a Cross-Examination; Mock debates and Contention Presentations;  How to give a Response Speech; Mock Debate Rounds;
Response Practice/Drills and continued research; Formal Debates; Open Philosophy Discussion; How to apply Debate to Life.

Middle School Congressional Debate Camp (Grade 6-8) or Rising Freshman ($180 before 6/5; $200 after 6/5)
Speech CAMP
Successful leaders are accomplished public speakers; our speech classes teach students how to select, research, write, and deliver presentations using proven skills for success.  While some of our students chose to compete in speech competitions, all of our students learn how to speak before a classroom in a relaxed and polished manner, increasing their self-confidence.
Our Director of Speech Curriculum, Bob Carroll, has 25 years of experience in forensics education, directed summer speech institutes for Bradley University and Blue Ribbon Forensics, and coached competitive public speaking and debating for Homewood-Flossmoor and Munster high schools.
 
The speech classes we offer this year as part of our camp experience are:

Oratory for Middle School Students (grades 6th - 8th):
students learn how to write and deliver an informative speech on a topic of their choice.  The instructor for this class is Matthew Beifuss.
 
Oratory for Elementary Students (grades 3rd - 5th):
students learn how to write and deliver a demonstration speech on a skill of their choice.  The instructor for this class is Matthew Beifuss.
 
Extemporaneous Speaking for Middle School Students (grades 6th -8th):
students learn how to deliver short speeches answering questions about national and international events.  The instructor for this class is Brian Zhang, a senior at Naperville North HS, who is the 2019 NCFL national champion and the 2019 and 2018 Illinois state champion in extemp speaking.
 
Extemporaneous Speaking for Elementary Students (grades 3rd - 5th):
students learn basic, but important, public speaking skills by learning how to deliver oral answers to questions about school, hobbies, family, and community.  The instructor for this class is Matthew Beifuss.

Elementary Math Camp

The math camp prepares students for the rigors of math curriculum and also teaches students problem-solving techniques to prepare them for prestigious middle school math contests such as MATHCOUNTS, MOEMS, and the AMC 8.

Junior High Map Camp

Preparation and training for the MathCounts® competitions through rigorous, systematic discussion and practice of 30+ MathCounts® topics.

Lego Robotics and Python Programming CAMP

The goal of this course is to teach Python basic concepts: data structure, functions and let students learn some basic programming skills.  Will learn how to use python to interact with Lego robotics.

Refund
The amount refunded depends on the date the request is made. Any refund request should be made to eliteleadershipinstitute@gmail.com  or received at "Elite Leadership Institute; 790 Royal St. George Dr, Ste 141 PMB#181, Naperville, Illinois, 60563".  A full refund will be made for classes canceled by the Elite Leadership Institute.  Otherwise, please   see the dates below for the amount of refund:
May 30, 2019, and before 100% of all tuition minus $20 registration fees;
After May 30, 2019, No refund unless is a cancellation of classes from school.
