We are seeking a hungry, pro-active, soccer-obsessed human to join our team in a content creator capacity to help drive community engagement through the capture and production of media.
In short, you're at NYC Footy events, games and tournaments capturing media. You're working with our marketing team to turn these assets into fun and entertaining posts across NYC Footy media outlets.
You're also experienced with TikTok and Instagram.
THIS CAN BECOME A FULL-TIME ROLE
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
- You have an eye for photos and videos. Symmetry is your middle name. You're quick to delete uninspiring videos or photos you've captured, allowing only the gems to make it out alive.
- Familiarity with the sports market and a strong understanding of what drives engagement.
- A mobile phone and equipment capable of capturing high quality content on the fly.
- Experience editing a video to the finished product.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Commuting to NYC Footy locations to capture content
· Editing media (audio, video, photography) using NYC Footy brand guidelines and providing assets to marketing team for sharing across NYC Footy media outlets.
· Lead and/or support the launch and management of new social channels (e.g. TikTok)
· Meet weekly with the marketing team
- Understand and add to the NYC Footy value proposition through your content capture
PREFERRED:
• Experience playing in an NYC Footy league
• Experience with the game of soccer
• Experience capturing and creating content for brands
