WHAT IS GAMEDEVMAP?
gamedevmap (
https://gamedevmap.com) is a living map and catalog of game development organizations.
WHO CAN BE LISTED?
To be added to gamedevmap, your studio or team must be one of the following:
- A publisher
- A development studio with a staff of five or more
- A studio with previously published games
- A studio under contract with a publisher
Middleware companies, service providers, and schools are not currently being tracked. gamedevmap does not track individual talent, consultants or mod groups.
WHAT IS THIS FORM FOR?
This form is for studios and teams in New York State or the greater NYC area to add a new listing to gamedevmap, update an existing listing, or submit a request to be removed.
If you're located outside that area, you can submit your information directly to gamedevmap by emailing
contact@gamedevmap.com.
CAN I SUBMIT INFORMATION ABOUT SOMEONE ELSE'S STUDIO?
We ask teams to submit information only on their own behalf. If you're aware of a studio that isn't listed and want to help make the map complete, you can direct them to this form and encourage them to self-submit.
If you've found a listing for a company that isn't in business anymore and should be removed, email us at
nyc@igda.org and we'll look into it.
WHO IS COLLECTING THIS INFORMATION?
This form is operated by the IGDA NYC chapter (
http://igda.nyc) and was created as a service to the NYC game dev community to help maintain a complete and accurate collection of listings in the region. We gather up-to-date information from our members and pass it along to gamedevmap.
While we review and make an effort to verify submissions, we can't guarantee the accuracy of information collected through this form or displayed on the gamedevmap site. While we may contact submitters with reminders to update their information, you can always contact gamedevmap directly if you have a problem with your listing.
