Thank you for your interest in joining the SWIYA program as a young author.

Please note that the SWIYA program for 2022-2023 will be running from November 2022 to early March 2023. During this time, our mentor will be spending at a minimum of 2 hours for at least four weeks with your child to write the storybook and get to know each other better. Please note that there is a longer available window of time than the "four weeks" to allow for scheduling convenience and flexibility. If this timeline presents any difficulty, please let us know beforehand by emailing us at harvard.cscs@gmail.com. We will either work out a separate schedule for your child that still ends at the latest by early April; otherwise, we welcome you to apply again in the future when we may also be running a summer iteration of SWIYA.

In order to be eligible for the SWIYA, your child must be between the ages of 7 and 21. If you have any questions regarding this requirement, we can address them on a case-by-case basis via email at harvard.cscs@gmail.com.

We are so excited to have you join our SWIYA family and meet our wonderful mentors who are looking forward to helping you on your writing journey towards printing your very own storybook. We would love to take this time to get to know you and your family a bit (in addition to a short video call that we will arrange shortly) before joining SWIYA.

Please fill out this form by *October 1st*, and do note that there are 3 sections. The first section can be filled out with the parent/guardian and child present, while the second is only for the parent/guardian and the third only for the young author.

We will be in touch shortly about video call times to meet you and introduce you to SWIYA personally.
