2022-2023 Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence Prevention Committee

As a Member, you will be a part of an ASUCR team which works to spread awareness, support, and resources in regards to sexual harassment, sexual and domestic violence, intimate partner violence, and stalking; and efficiently works to promote a safe campus environment in support of survivors of sexual harassment and violence. The Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence Prevention Committee is made of UCR community members who communicate, organize, and develop projects and initiatives in support of UCR sexual harassment and violence prevention efforts.

The main responsibilities of Members include working on projects and initiatives for UCR students and staff to support the Committee's purpose. You should be able to help brainstorm ideas for projects and legislation. Due to the nature of the Committee's purpose, members must create and maintain a safe space for all individuals at all times. This year, the Committee will host a minimum of one (1) event per quarter and collaborate with at least one (1) other organization on UCR's campus. Members will assist in executing additional tasks to promote Committee efforts and connect with students on campus. We are looking for individuals with a variety of skills to enhance and support the Committee's sexual harassment and violence prevention efforts.

*This position is only open to undergraduate students for the 2022-2023 academic year.
