The International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) is the World Championship Mathematics Competition for High School students and is held annually in a different country.
Mathematical Association of Nepal (MAN), an official representative of IMO, is a registered non-profit voluntary organization of veteran Mathematicians from Universities, Mathematics Trainers, Authors, Gold Medalists and Teachers. It has started its activities since 2015 A.D.
Primarily, it organizes the mathematics competitions in different phases from all over the country, mentoring schemes and training for high performing students and selects top six to represent Nepal in the IMO. It also runs the varieties of enrichment seminars, discussion activities and training in encouraging both learners and teachers. The MAN Executive Board ensures that the National Competition takes place each year and we represent Nepal to each  IMO.

According to MAN general regulation participate students should meet the following criteria:-

1. School may send students of any grade or students can register their participation by themselves, but they must have been BORN ON OR AFTER JULY 1, 2001.
2. Registration fee for each student is Rs. 500 which can be deposited to the official Bank Account at Sunrise Bank (A/C No. 0060383133701001) or directly pay with the provided QR Code via eSewa or mobile banking.
3.  If any of the interested participant is not able to afford fee then he/she can send authentic letter of recommendation from their Gaunpalika or Nagarpalika to imonepal@gmail.com for regeistration fee waiver.

Exam Details:

Exam Date: March 20, 2021 (Chaitra 7, 2077)
Questions: 50 Multiple Choice Questions with 4 options and 1 correct answer
Exam Mode: Online (link will be provided to the registered candidates)
Time: 3:00 pm to 4:40 pm (100 minutes)
