Beginning on September 18, Zion will embark on a 40-day discipleship challenge together called "The Red Letter Challenge".  Last Fall during the five-week "Connected to Christ" series, 32 small groups (adults, young adults and high schoolers) met throughout the week! Over 170 people participated in those small groups and many more were part of the sermon series. We are praying even more will join the Red Letter Challenge this year which is why we are so thankful you're willing to facilitate a small group!

The Red Letter Challenge guides readers through 40 days of practical and memorable challenges focused on what it means to follow Jesus. There are hundreds of books and bible studies on following Jesus, but few are practical and proven. Jesus modeled and even told us how to follow Him in HIS OWN WORDS (the red letters found in many Bibles). The best way to follow Jesus is simply to follow the words of Jesus. Through this time together in God's Word and in conversation, our prayer is that we will be led into deeper and more meaningful connection with our Lord and with one another.

Small groups will be made up of 6-10 adults and will meet once per week beginning the week of Sept. 18 and concluding the week of Oct. 30 (7 weeks).  Our hope is to offer small groups on Sunday mornings at Zion and at other times in homes or at Zion throughout the week. Small group facilitators will be given everything they need to lead their groups including a Facilitator's Guide and weekly videos based on the "Red Letter Challenge" book.
