The 4-H Leadership Scholarship is a scholarship that is awarded to up to three Goodhue County 4-H Members each year. This award is selected on 4-H member involvement, community involvement and leadership activities that have taken place in the 4-H member’s “career”.  

The applications are removed of all identifying information (name, address, email etc.) and then reviewed by the 4-H Council Awards and Scholarship Committee. This committee consists of adults and youth who serve on council.  Individuals who have submitted an application are not allowed to participate on the committee. Once the applications have been reviewed and ranked, 4-H staff will review them and decide any tie breakers or discrepancies. Three $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors involved in Goodhue County 4-H. If you are selected to receive this scholarship, you will be recognized at the County Fair Awards Ceremony. You will receive the scholarship money following your first quarter/semester of post-secondary education and after you have submitted a transcript or an update on your employment to 4-H staff.
