This is the form where those who want to participate in Listen to Dis Workshops in the fall of 2020 can sign up. These workshops will all be done over Zoom or Google Meet and link will be sent out to all participants closer to the date of the workshop. There is no fee to participate in any workshop. Please fill out the below information.

Intro to Improv with Kayla Rourke. December 17th, 2020. 6pm - 8pm.

Using the idea that “you’re improvising every minute of your life, you just know the character really well”, Kayla Rourke will explore how to trust yourself and tap into your creativity to create fun improvised characters and scenes. During this free workshop, we will play, laugh, and explore acting without a script. There is no prior experience needed!


Collaborative Poem Project with Danielle Richardson. January 21st 2021. 6pm - 8pm.

Join Danielle Richardson for a collaborative writing workshop where we will work together to create something new. Using different writing/creating techniques, we will explore poetry, the craft of describing emotions. Bring an open mind and any tools you find helpful when playing with words (written or spoken).


Design for Play: An Intro to Digital Immersive Theatre with Torien Cafferata. February 18th, 2021. 6pm - 8pm.

An immersive theatre workshop in the land of snow and quarantines? Impossible. Unfortunately, Torien Cafferata of It's Not A Box Theatre is good old friends (arch-nemeses?) of the impossible and is here to run you through how to use digital technology to bring theatre back into our lives in strange, intimate, innovative ways. Discover the techniques of game design that have been hiding in theatre (and vice versa) and let's get playing! February 18th, 2021.
