JRT VA U17 High Performance Selection Trial (Boys & Girls)
JRT Volleyball Academy is inviting our athletes to attend the tryout for Oct to Dec 2022.

Time: 7pm to 9pm

Who can sign up for the tryouts.
Category 1: Current JRT Volleyball Academy Private athletes | Intermediate/Elite Program Only | Oct to Dec 2022.
Category 2:  JRT Volleyball Academy Existing contracted schools athletes.
Category 3: Former JRT Volleyball Academy Private athletes who completed at least one full term in 2021 – 2022.

For athletes in category 1 & 2. $55 will be charged for the 11 weeks program
For athletes in category 3, $605 will be charged for the 11 weeks program

My parents & I will be positive and refrain from any public negativity towards athletes, coaches, and parents in the JRT Volleyball Academy Program or other Competing Clubs. This includes all social media. *

We agree to handle any and all issues observing the 24 hour rule. If you have any complaints or issues concerning your player or coach, you are expected to wait until a period of 24 hours after the practice or tournament before confronting your coach. If you feel your issue was not resolved you may then request a meeting with the Academy Director. Please do not contact the academy director without first following these 2 steps. *

We understand that participation in practice and tournaments is instrumental to the development of each player and their team. We also understand that time lost in practice may lead to time lost in tournaments. *

We understand that our athletes may have schedule conflicts either with school, work, family, or school or national team sports commitment which may prevent them from attending every practice. All athletes will be allowed 2 study days in one term (3 months) that will allow them to miss a practice without a need to make it up. We understand that we have some multisport athletes and they may need to miss practices. If missing practice in excess of the 2 mentioned above, these dates will need to be made up by attending another team’s practice or scheduling a training lesson. Make arrangements with the coach. *

We understand that if a practice will be missed we will notify the coach immediately. *

We promise to review our team schedule and notify the coach immediately if any tournaments will be missed. We expect all athletes to only miss events for school related (graded) reasons as they are making a commitment to not only JRT Volleyball Academy, but also to their teammates. In the case of a multisport athlete the coach must know your schedule as soon as possible so that arrangements can be made if tournaments are going to be missed. *

We understand that playing time is determined by the Head Coaches and Academy Director. We may not agree with it but it is their responsibility to do what is best for all players and the team. *

We understand that the “club game” is not always the same as the “school game”. JRT Volleyball Academy will use each athlete in the best interests of the team. Example: An athlete may be considered an Outside Hitter in school but the club may need to utilize their skills as a Middle Hitter. *

We will never approach a line judge, official or scorekeeper before, during or after a match. This includes no yelling about your perception of a call or the score at the table. *

Parents, devices, cell phones, etc. are NEVER allowed at a scorer’s table. Players must focus on their duties. *

JRT Volleyball Academy will have athletes who are selected in the high performance team to abide by players agreement in a later dates *

Available dates and activities - All the information in our literature was correct at time of print. Change may occur and JRT Volleyball Academy will try to inform parents/athletes as quickly as possible. Activity programs are subject to change in the event of unsuitable weather or other circumstances beyond our control. *
