1. Speaker will provide mutually agreed upon topics during the period of her presentation. At this time, the content to be presented (see below).
2. Speaker agrees to provide bibliography/references, objectives, abstract, and a handout at least 1 week prior to the event. Speaker will sign a disclosure agreement upon request.
3. Speaker does not give permission to record the presentation or for participants to take screenshots of content unless pre-approved.
4. The host will provide the online format and communicate the type to the host at least 2 weeks in advance (Zoom, Teams, etc).
5. The host will provide Speaker honorarium of (see below) within 24hours of presentation completion.
6. The host will use the agreed upon headshot photo of the Speaker and link to her website and social media accounts when promoting the event.
Standard Speaker Fees:
60-90 minutes $400
90 min-2.5 hrs $650
3-5.5 hours $1000
full day (6-8 hrs) $1500
2 day event (avg 5-7 hr/day) $2200
*these are standard fees which may be altered by mutual agreement
Cancellation:
In the event Speaker cancels this speaking engagement for reasons within her control, notice must be given at the earliest possible date to Host. Speaker will provide additional dates to present within 12 months, if possible. If Speaker is unable to present within 12 months, Speaker will refund any pre-paid fees.
In the event the Speaker is delayed or unable to appear, for reasons beyond her control, Speaker will make extraordinary efforts to appear at a delayed time, or rescheduled date, to offer her presentation(s) and earn the agreed honorarium.
In the event Host cancels this speaking engagement for reasons within its control, notice must be given at the earliest possible date to the Speaker. The Host agrees to make arrangements for the Speaker to present at a future event within 12 months' time.
It is understood that the Presenter:
1. Neither solicits or accepts funding or reimbursement from manufacturers of products that are not within the scope of the International Code of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes
2. Endorses the Innocenti Declaration and therefore expects quiet, breastfed babies in arms to be allowed to remain with their mothers in the meeting rooms
4 . Retains exclusive copyright of her presentations as well as all materials, handouts, etc. associated with her presentations.
