Spring Branch Education Foundation volunteers are eagerly planning one
of our favorite events of the year. We will celebrate the Teachers and
Principals of the Year and SBEF scholarship recipients, all who personify our
district’s high academic standards. Each year, we recognize outstanding
teachers from every school and an extraordinary principal, one chosen from an
elementary and one from a secondary school. Last year, we awarded 205
scholarships to graduates!
Thank you to the PTAs that are sponsoring tables
or seats to host their Principals or Teachers of the Year and their guests.
This event is not a fundraiser for SBEF. Sponsorships help cover the cost of
honoring SBISD’s Bright Stars – teachers (TOYS AND POYS) and students
(scholarship recipients). Thanks to our generous donors, the Foundation is
pleased to be part of achieving our ultimate goal of excellent education for
every student.

2023. This year’s Bright Stars event will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023 at
