After the successful youth league seasons in 2018 & 2019 (unfortunately we couldn't proceed with youth league in 2020 due to covid) , NCCA is excited to announce the 3rd edition of the NCCA Youth League to provide a platform for top youth talent to play together and showcase their talent.
The league spring season will run for 10 weekends from late Feb/early Mar until mid May 2021 subject to ground availability and local regulations.

There will be multiple age groups for this year’s youth league with the youngest age group(s) playing as club/academy teams (there will be a separate link going out for academy team registrations for younger age groups). Age groups and number of teams for each age group will be determined by the number of available pool of kids for each age group and USA Cricket recommended age groups.

Depending on the number of registrations, players in each age group will be drafted into one of the 2-4 teams with each team assigned to a NCCA mentor. Players will be drafted based on coaches feedback, their recent performances, and home location. A player may not change teams once the season has started. Please provide reference to coach(es) and their cricclubs profile in the registration form for consideration. Team mentors will reach out to coaches for input when required.

All games will be played on specific game days so that academies can align their coaching schedule with youth league for player availability. Each team will have a game every weekend.

Each player drafted will be required to pay a deposit at the start of the season and each player in the playing 11 of a game will be charged a game fee that will cover the cost of ground rental, umpire and ball costs (will be adjusted from the deposit). We will try to optimize on this cost by getting discounted grounds and/or sponsorship to reduce the burden on individual players. Details of the cost and draft will be shared later.

For now, we are accepting registrations for all 11-16 yr old players (as of sep 1 2020).
