Objective
To produce cold-process soap.

Please join us for a soap making session!! We’re making soap from scratch using the cold-process method! Yes, we’re getting into a bit of chemistry over this class to learn the basics of saponification, safety in handling lye, using natural colours in soap, how to use a soap calculator, what are the different types of oils used and what purpose they serve, etc. This is a class suitable for complete beginners in soap-making wanting to start experimenting at home!

1. 200g of Refined Coconut Oil (optional)
2. 450g of Pomace Olive Oil (optional)
3. 350g of Refined Palm Oil (optional)
4. 147g of Sodium Hydroxide
5. 325g of Distilled Water or Reverse Osmosis Water
6. Silicone Mold
7. Weighing Scale
8. Stainless Steel Whisk
9. Stainless Steel Bowl x 2
10. Disposable Chopstick
11. Silicone Spatula
12. Paper Cup
13. Nitrile/Latex Gloves
14. Apron
