Join the Community & Educators Coalition!
Hello there!

So excited to have you join other parents, community members, and educators in improving our education system here in Idaho! For too long Idaho education has not been a priority, and it's time to change that.

When parents, communities, and educators come together, students win. In December, join other parents, community members, and educators in regional discussions around the state to develop our vision for the public schools our students deserve. We will be answering questions such as; “What do our students need now to better ensure they can reach their full potential?”, “What should the schools' post-pandemic look like?”, and “How can we all better work together to meet the needs of our students?”

Idaho ranks 51st in per-pupil funding. This is unacceptable and we must do better. Forecasted state budget revenue projects a surplus of $550 million dollars in this year's state budget. We have an opportunity to invest in our students' and our communities' futures, now. The priorities for our schools, we believe, should be guided by the voices of parents and educators – not politicians.

This new coalition will host a statewide dialogue held over three Saturdays in December. At these 2 hour virtual (Zoom) meetings, you and your fellow Idahoans will decide what your needs are from the Idaho education system and how to voice those needs! Plan to attend only one of these, based on which school district you live in (if you're on a computer, CTRL/CMND+F is your friend here):
