Gather your family and start the Christmas season right here at PUMC, enjoying a self-guided tour through the city of Bethlehem.

This year, your family won't just hear about Christmas, they'll see, taste, touch, and fully experience the real meaning of Christmas as they wander through Bible-times Bethlehem. Engaging in hands-on activities at every stop, and hearing the story of Jesus's birth will build the faith of moms, dads, and kids alike. Everyone will eagerly experience these stops along the way.

The City Gates: Check in with the Gate Keeper and get a map of Bethlehem and a bag of shekels (gold coins) that you will use throughout the night.

Census Tent: Register your family into Bethlehem and pay your taxes that are due to the tax collector.

The INN: Check to see if you can get a room… although I hear they may be FULL.

Stable: Meet Mary and Joseph and hear them tell about their new baby and their journey to Bethlehem.

Candle Shop: Learn about the Advent Wreath, and make an advent candle to use this season.

Wood Shop: Purchase your wooden slice that will complete your Christmas Craft.

Yarn Shop: Purchase your yarn and thread to complete your Christmas Craft.

The Toy Shop: Purchase your Nativity Dolls.

Linen Shop: Gather and purchase your linens that will be used to dress your nativity dolls.

Bakery: Learn about making bread and enjoy kneading the dough. Purchase your bread kits and a sweet treat!

Basket Weaver: Watch and learn how to weave a basket with our Basket Weaver.

The Shepherds: Join the shepherds in the field to help care for and feed the live animals!
